COMTO Fort Lauderdale awarded $9,500 in scholarships to six recipients at its 5th Annual Scholarship Luncheon. Broward County Administrator, Bertha Henry, and several department directors and staff including Glenn Wiltshire (Port Everglades), Sandy Michael McDonald (Office of Economic and Small Business Development, OESBD) and Chris Walton (Broward County Transit) were in attendance along with COMTO National President Brad Mims.

The keynote address was given by Henri Crockett, Co-founder and President of the Crockett Foundation, a South Florida-based non-profit organization. This year there was a rooftop reception the night before the scholarship luncheon which allowed chapter members an opportunity to network with the National President and department directors.
