COMTO National is staffed by a team of professionals who are committed to the mission and vision of the organization. They are supported by volunteer board members who are among their professions’ most respected and experienced leaders.
A. Bradley Mims has been a leader in the transportation industry in both the government and the private sector for over forty years. As a government relations and legislative policy expert with a multi-modal transportation background, Mims has dedicated his career to serving as an advocate for diversity and inclusiveness in the transportation industry.
Tara McDaniel’s professional experience is uniquely suited to lead an advocacy organization dedicated to a mission of serving minorities in transportation. Her career includes Congressional and U.S. Small Business Administration experience, non-profit and minority-owned business development and leadership roles in media relations and community outreach for global corporations and two major transportation entities.
Melissa Dent has over 35 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Her vast experience includes executive positions as Senior Internal/External Auditor, CFO, V.P. of Finance and Senior Business Consultant in the public accounting, federal and state governments, corporate, banking and non-profit sectors. Melissa is a Certified Public Accountant and received her B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Mariah Stanley has over 10 years of experience in the transportation industry with extensive Institutional and Youth and Student Outreach project portfolios as well as experience managing early career and mid-level manager, complex multi-use workforce development programs in the areas of Diversity and Inclusion. She is skilled in nonprofit management, government contracting, team building, business writing, and fundraising.
Gatwiri Muthara has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and public relations for global corporations, non-profit organizations and membership associations. She is skilled in internal communications, public relations, news writing and reporting, social media, video production, web content management, marketing, business development and events in the non-profit, corporate and federal sectors.
Dante Flood is a COMTO CITY Internship alumnus who assisted in the coordination of COMTO’s 43rd, 44th, and 45th annual National Conferences gaining valuable insight into the efficient running of the organization. He currently assists the Membership Manager.
Chynna L. Banks has more than 10 years of experience in the railroad transportation industry, as well as in legislative advocacy and policy development, corporate marketing, and government certifications. She is fluent in Spanish and well-practiced in membership management, workforce development, and diversity coordination and outreach.
