COMTO Leaders Celebrate Black History Month

COMTO leadership has been out and about representing COMTO at various Black History Month programs, by illuminating the contributions of COMTO and African Americans to the transportation industry.

On February 13, 2020, APTA hosted COMTO Board Chair, Freddie Fuller, and President and CEO, Brad Mims, for their Black History Month program at their Washington, DC office. Mr. Fuller gave an overview of COMTO’s history, while Mr. Mims detailed his nearly 50 years in the transportation industry. Attendees also engaged in an open discussion with the two. On February 19, 2020, COMTO Board Chair, Freddie Fuller presented at the Federal Transit Administration’s African American History Program in Washington, DC where he shared the history of African Americans in transportation and COMTO’’s contributions on the road to equality.
