COMTO Chicago’s Chapter “Decked the Halls” at Plymouth Rooftop with holiday cheer celebrating, Janice Thomas, our very own chapter member who was promoted to Chief of Staff, at Metra Rail.“ ‘Tis the Season To Be Jolly” for Janice’s accomplishment, to “Move the Nation” proudly. Members and guests “Jingle, Mingle and Mix” among colleagues and friends with great food, spirits and merriment, having themselves a very “Merry Christmas” cheer. “Let’s Toast” to Janice for her phenomenal service of “Making Spirits Bright” as the Director of Diversity, as she bring in the “New Year” and new beginnings, as Chief of Staff bringing “Joy to the World” to all the Metra riders.

But “Oh, What Fun” we had hosting a toy drive for all the kids who were “Dreaming of a White Christmas” and waiting on “Santa Clause (who was) Coming to Town.” The COMTO Executive Members, were in Santa’s workshop “Making a List & Checking It Twice” for the “Naughty or Nice” boys and girls, at St. Sabina Church. But it was “Holiday Magic” to bring “Warm Wishes & Good Cheer” in our “Ugly Christmas Sweaters” to over 300 children who were singing Christmas Carols, smiling, laughing and playing “Reindeer Games.”

Thank you to our COMTO members, guest, RTA, CTA, WSP, and HNTB employees, who help deliver great holiday celebration during our Toy Drive that served 160 families in the community. And, many thanks to our COMTO Chicago Executive Board, Roxann Galvan (President); Bryan Robinson (1st Vice President); Rovaughn Graham (2nd VP and Membership Chairman); Eunice Escobar (Treasurer); and Lisa Sargent-Davis (Secretary) for their endless efforts to throw kindness around like holiday confetti.
